How to avoid Robux scams

Scammers copy legitimate service design in minutes. Below — five signs to filter a dangerous scheme before payment, plus what a safe flow on 1RBX looks like.

Robux scams almost always hook on three things: "half the rate," "we need your password to deliver," and "send to the manager's card, the site is down." Legitimate purchase on 1rbx.gg never needs a Roblox password, goes by public username, and runs through SBP, MIR, or crypto checkout — not a personal transfer.

If you already doubt the link, do not "test with 100 rubles on a card." Open the domain manually: 1rbx.gg. Save the order ID. 24/7 support works by order number, not a screenshot of chat with a stranger in a messenger.

1. They ask for your Roblox password

A legitimate service never asks for a password. Delivery on 1RBX only needs a public username and the correct method — Gift Card or GamePass. Any form that says "log into Roblox so we can credit Robux" is a stop signal.

Password is not needed for a first order with fixed +15 R$, market escrow, or box withdraw. If an "operator" asks for email code or 2FA — that is account takeover, not delivery. Change password in official Roblox and do not pay the scheme.

2. Telegram only, no website

One channel with no domain, FAQ, or payout history is a red flag. Check official domain 1rbx.gg, 24/7 support, and transparent order statuses in your profile.

Messenger can be a notification channel, but payment and status must live on the site. "A manager in DMs will process faster than the site" almost always means bypassing escrow and the payment provider. Do not duplicate payment in DMs if an order on the site is already created and "stuck."

3. Payment to a personal card

Payment must go through a provider — SBP, MIR / VISA card in checkout, crypto to an address from the 1RBX payment form. Not to a "manager's card" and not to "another wallet because checkout is down."

• Save bank receipt or txid and order ID on 1RBX.
• Do not send "extra fee" to new details from chat.
• Do not repeat payment if status is still processing.
• In a dispute support needs order ID, not a screenshot of the seller's card.

4. "Hurry now" pressure

Urgency without a chance to verify terms is classic social engineering. On 1RBX rate, Gift Card / GamePass method, and +15 R$ bonus are visible in the calculator before payment, without trap timers in DMs.

A real in-game event does not cancel domain checks. Allow 10–15 minutes: verify username, method, and amount. "Rate expires in 3 minutes, send to card" is not a 1RBX promo. Fixed +15 R$ on first order does not require a race: either the line is in the calculator or the first purchase was already used.

5. Phishing mirrors

Do not follow "deals" from random DMs. Check URL, certificate, and navigation. Official domain — 1rbx.gg. If unsure open the site manually from a bookmark, not a short link.

Mirrors often copy the calculator and ask for a password "to bind username" — that step does not exist on real 1RBX. Check that checkout does not redirect to a foreign domain. A market without escrow "like 1RBX but cheaper" is a separate scheme: off-site deals remove protection.

What a safe purchase on 1RBX looks like

Opened 1rbx.gg from bookmark → username from Roblox profile → Gift Card or GamePass → final Robux and payment amount → SBP / MIR / crypto in checkout → order ID in profile. No password at any step.

• First order: check fixed +15 R$ line, not a percent.
• Market: only escrow listings on site, not "meet in game."
• 24/7 support: only with order ID, no repeat payment.

If you already paid a suspicious seller

Do not send a password "to cancel." Change Roblox password, enable 2FA in the official client, contact your bank about the unknown transfer. Open a 1RBX ticket only if payment went through 1rbx.gg checkout — then you need order ID.

Create a duplicate "pay again on the official site to cover the scam" only after verifying domain and status. Do not mix two payments in one ticket without IDs. Support never asks for Roblox password and never asks you to send a "verification" transfer to an employee's card.
